AmeriPlan Dental/AmeriPlan Health Doesn’t “Cover” Anything
June 30, 2008
It’s not your fault.
We’ve all become so accustomed to “insurance” lingo that the most common question we ask when looking to buy a dental plan or health plan is “What does it cover?”… and you need to know that. It’s a great question.
It’s funny, well not really, but even when people ask this question, get an answer and buy an “insurance” policy they still have no idea what it “covers”. So many people think they are “covered” by their insurance until something happens and they find out they are not… Which is why you should still have a basic AmeriPlan Dental or AmeriPlan Health package for back up… even if you have “insurance”
But that’s another post. Back to this one.
To answer the question, “What does AmeriPlan cover?”. Neither AmeriPlan Dental nor AmeriPlan Health programs “cover” anything. The major thing you must know is AmeriPlan Is NOT Insurance. AmeriPlan is a discount-fee-for-service program. Meaning, if you’re a member (and you should be) you receive dental and health care services at discounted rates… reduced lower than the doctor’s usual and customary fees for other patients. AmeriPlan Corporation doesn’t pay anythingto the doctors. The doctors have agreements with AmeriPlan to provide their services to AmeriPlan members at reduced fees. That’s it. That’s also how all on-going problems are included in Ameriplan Discount Programs.
You give the doctor’s office your card. They verify your membership then recalculate the charges. You pay the balance owed with cash, check, debit or credit card… (very few doctors will accept homemade apple pies as payment these days)… and you’re out. That simple. Some doctors will even let you make payments on the discounted fee. That’s entirely up to the doctor though.
So the question should be. “How much of a discount will I get with AmeriPlan?”
Check out the testimonials category on this blog or go to www.TheDentalPlanMan.com for the amazing stories of 7 uninsured people who saved incredible amounts of money using AmeriPlan. I’ll show you what happened and how AmeriPlan Dental or AmeriPlan Health came to their rescue.
Can I Cancel My AmeriPlan Membership Anytime?
June 29, 2008
Absolutely. AmeriPlan even gives you a 30 Day, no questions asked, money back guarantee. The registration fee is non-refundable (unless your fiance freaks out that you got the plan and you cancel within 24 hours of signing up… it has happened). If that does happen AmeriPlan will even refund your registration fee. Just send an email to stop@stopmembership.com … then rethink your engagement.
Seriously, anytime you feel like you need to cancel your AmeriPlan Dental Plus or AmeriPlan Health program membership, you can. It’s that simple.
AmeriPlan Discount Prescription Card Saves You Money
“Thank you AmeriPlan! With the aid of our AmeriPlan Discount Prescription Card, I was able to save one of my customers over $1013 per MONTH on her prescriptions! We lowered the price of her monthly prescriptions from $2000 to $987!!! She is very happy” - Donna Kappa SRSD
You may already know this but AmeriPlan’s Dental Plus program not only gives you dscounts on your dental care but it also comes with AmeriPlan’s Prescription, Vision and Chiropractic programs as well.
Our pharmacist has both my wife’s insurance and our AmeriPlan card number on file so when she needs prescriptions filled we simply ask which card is cheaper. You’d be surprised how many times it’s cheaper for us to use our AmeriPlan card than pay her $20 co-pay to use her insurance card.
I sincerely can’t imagine how people walk around with nothing. I mean nothing. I know lots of people simply don’t go to the doctor because they “think” they can’t afford it… but when it gets down to the get down and you “have” to get something done… or you “have” to have a prescription filled. You’ll “have” to pay full price… Which you REALLY can’t afford. This is my passion. Getting the word out to the un-insured. Keep something (a discount card, insurance, or both) in your wallet/purse at all times.
Sorry, I’m ranting again.. That testimonial is the reason I posted today. I wanted to share it with you.
Have a great day & God bless you.

Okay, so your tooth has been killing you for the past week. Your mouth is so full of Ambisal you can’t talk-at-all. It’s 2 A.M. and you can’t sleep because it’s hurting soooo bad…
Then this infomercial comes on your TV:
DON’T DO IT! LOL! I know the cost to go to the dentist can get expensive but believe me… If you’ve got AmeriPlan Dental Plus… you can afford it. get it here.
How Much Does AmeriPlan Dental Plus Cost?
One of the great things about the AmeriPlan Dental Plus program is the cost. It’s only $14.95 per month for you or $19.95 per month for you and everyone in your house.
Notice I said everyone in the house…
You don’t even have to be related, married or even like each other… Inlaws, outlaws, If you live in the same house you’re all included in one plan. Sweet! My wife and I lived together before we got married (Sorry Mom) so that benefited us tremendously.
You also get Vision, Prescription and Chiropractic discount benefits included. There is a one time (non-refundable) registration fee of $20. So it’s $34.95 (Individual)/$39.95 (Household) all together to get started with a 30 day money back guarantee.
I’ve only had three refund requests in three years so that’s good. Actually two got their money back and one broke a tooth called back and kept the plan. She was happy she did.
BTW. You can get AmeriPlan Health Programs ranging from $29.95-$59.95 per month for the entire household with a one time (non-refundable) $30 registration fee and the same 30 day money back guarantee.
